1 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. puffed rice
1 c. oats
1 c. coconut (optional)
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugars.
Mix well and add eggs.
Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
Add to sugar mixture.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
