Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. mashed bananas
Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Beat shortening until creamy.
Add sugar gradually; beat until light and fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add flour mixture alternately with bananas.
Turn into well-greased bread pan; bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Makes 1 loaf.
