Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
cream cheese icing

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together. Blend in eggs; beat well. Sift flour, salt, soda and baking powder together. Add to mixture. Add pineapple and vanilla. If batter is stiff, add a little of juice. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. When cool, add icing to each cookie.
