Ingredients

1 stick oleo
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. dates, cut in pieces
2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
coconut
Preparation

In an iron skillet, melt oleo.
Add sugar, dates and egg yolks.
Cook slowly for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly and mashing dates.
Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies, chopped nuts and vanilla.
Make into small balls and roll in coconut.
