Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Mix brown sugar, vanilla and egg.
Then add flour, salt and soda.
Mix.
Add walnuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in greased 9-inch square pan for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven as soon as solid.
Cool. Cut in squares.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
