Party Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. M&M's (plain)

Preparation

Blend shortening and sugar. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift remaining dry ingredients together. Add to the sugar and egg mixture. Stir in 1/2 cup of M&M's; decorate top of cookies with remaining M&M's. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
