Ingredients

1/2 lb. soft butter or margarine
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
4 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Chill overnight.
Next day, roll into balls and then in powdered sugar.
Put on ungreased pans 2 inches apart.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from pans and roll in powdered sugar again.
