Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Heat water, butter, sugar and salt to boiling in a large saucepan over medium heat.
    Whisk in corn meal and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and place in large bowl.
    Whisk in milk until smooth.
    Add eggs and baking powder.
    Pour in pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
