Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1 onion
hot salad oil

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients.
Add eggs and milk, stirring well. Add onion and blend (mixture will be thick).
Dip a large spoon into hot salad oil, then into batter for each hush puppy.
