Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
cinnamon and sugar (in equal amounts), mixed
Preparation

Cream butter well.
Gradually add sugar while beating.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well each time.
Add vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture, alternately with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet, well apart.
With spatula, flatten into circles about 2-inches in diameter.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes about 30 (3-inch) cookies.
