Fritters "Bread"(Friganice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 oz. compressed yeast
    2/3 c. warm milk
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. milk
    2 c. flour
    4 oz. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine yeast, warm milk and 1/2 cup flour and set aside to rise.
    Beat egg yolks; add yeast mixture and remaining ingredients; beat well.
    Cover and let rise until double.
    Preheat about 2 1/2 cups of oil in a skillet.
    Drop the batter in oil with a tablespoon.
    Brown on each side.
    Remove from skillet and allow to drain.
    Sprinkle with sugar, if desired, or serve with sour cream.
