Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. quick oatmeal
1 c. coconut, flaked
1 c. chopped pecans
crushed Rice Krispies or cornflakes
Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream together the butter, brown sugar and egg; add the oatmeal, coconut and pecans.
Add the flour mixture (a little at a time).
Chill. Roll 1 teaspoon dough into balls.
Roll balls in crushed Rice Krispies or cornflakes (about 1 cup).
Flatten with bottom of glass.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
