Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter/margarine
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Cut in butter until like fine meal.
Spread 2 1/2 cups of the mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 7 x 11 x 2-inch baking pan.
Blend soda and nutmeg into remaining flour-sugar-butter mixture.
Combine egg and sour cream. Stir into flour mixture until just blended.
Spoon over crumb mixture in pan.
Sprinkle nuts on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
Check for doneness.
