Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

In large mixing bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat butter and peanut butter until blended.
Gradually add both sugars, beating until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, until smooth.
Beat baking soda and flour into batter at low speed, until thoroughly blended.
With spoon, stir in chocolate chips. Drop batter from tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets, then lightly flatten each with back of spoon.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on wire racks.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
