Fried Bean Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cooked pinto beans
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
chopped onion (optional to your taste)
Preparation

Cook pinto beans in crock-pot until done. Add flour and meal at the same time with the beans and mix together. Add onion, if using. Spoon into skillet with olive oil or shortening. Brown on both sides and serve hot or cold.
