Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo (2 sticks)
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 beaten eggs
    1/2 c. sweet milk
    3 c. plain sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. light raisins
    6 slices pineapple, diced
    2 c. candied cherries, quartered
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly.
    Stir in milk. Sift together the flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Add to egg mixture with milk.
    Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill.
    Drop small bits of dough on greased baking sheets and bake 20 minutes at 275\u00b0.
    If desired, add a pecan or cherry half to top of each cookie.
