Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. unbleached flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/8 to 3/4 c. buttermilk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. raisins
1/8 c. oil
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix together dry ingredients.
Make a well in the center and add wet ingredients, including raisins.
Mix well by hand.
Turn onto lightly floured surface and knead until smooth.
Spray a 9-inch round cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Pat in the dough.
With a sharp knife, cut an \"X\" into top of dough.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden brown.
