Ingredients

1 1/4 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
powdered sugar
Preparation

In a large bowl, cream the margarine and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
In medium bowl, combine flour, cocoa and baking soda. Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes. Cookies will be puffy, but collapse while cooling. Transfer to waxed paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar when completely cooled.
Store in airtight container with slice of bread so cookies remain chewy.
