Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. xxx sugar
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream the butter well.
Add sugar and salt.
Cream thoroughly. Add flour and blend in completely.
Shape dough into 2 rolls approximately 1 to 1 1/2-inches in diameter.
Wrap individually in wax paper and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Cut and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
(They do not spread.)
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool completely before frosting.
