Crisp Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. chopped fine pecans
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 egg, separated
Preparation
    Cream sugar and Crisco. Add egg yolk, 1/2 cup pecans, vanilla, cinnamon and flour. You will have to use your hands after flour is added. Pat dough in well-greased cookie pan 1/4-inch deep. Brush with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle the rest of pecans and pat down. Bake 20 minutes in preheated 375\u00b0 oven. This recipe can be cut in squares when baked.
