Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour, sifted
2/3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. golden raisins, soaked in water, then drained
2 eggs, beaten
1 3/4 to 2 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. graham or whole wheat flour
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine all ingredients; mix well.
Spoon into 3 well-greased No. 303 (1-pound) tin cans.
Let stand for 1/2 hour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from cans; let cool on rack.
Makes 3 loaves.
