Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening, butter and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl.
Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add egg and beat well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
Add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Chill thoroughly.
