Ingredients

1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. water
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (6 oz. each) boxes chocolate creme de menthe mints, unwrapped
Preparation

Combine sugar, butter and water in a medium saucepan.
Heat for 4 to 5 minutes over low heat or until butter melts.
Add chocolate pieces; stir until melted.
Remove from heat.
Pour into a large mixer bowl; cool for 10 minutes.
Beat in eggs one at a time at high speed.
Gradually beat flour, baking soda and salt into chocolate mixture at low speed.
Cover and chill dough for 1 hour.
