Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. white sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. liquid from raisins
4 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins, boiled 5 minutes, drained and cooled
2 c. canned pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in order given.
Fill greased loaf pans (medium size) 1/2 full.
Bake 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
