Perno Johnson'S Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. white cornmeal
    1 tsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix and cool the first 4 ingredients.
    Add milk and 2 beaten egg yolks.
    Mix well and fold in 2 stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
