Apple Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. finely shredded apples
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Sift first 5 ingredients into medium bowl.
Cream butter and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour mixture and apples 1/2 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in walnuts. Spoon into well-greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until loaf tests done.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
Yield:
12 servings.
