Irish Bread #3 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 c. margarine
1 c. buttermilk
2/3 c. raisins
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together and cut in margarine until crumbly.
Add buttermilk, raisins and caraway seed.
Mix until well blended.
Place mixture into well-greased 9-inch round cake pan. Brush top with 2 tablespoons of melted margarine.
Sprinkle with 4 teaspoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Cut an \"X\" on top with a sharp knife.
