Apple Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 c. canned applesauce
    1/2 c. milk
    4 c. flour (sifted)
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. chopped raisins
    1/2 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Beat eggs one at a time. Stir in applesauce and milk; sift dry ingredients.
    Add to applesauce mixture.
    Mix well; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into 2 greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch loaf pans; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour until bread tests done.
    Cool on rack.
    Makes 2 loaves.
