Sugarless Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 c. dates, chopped
    1 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. oil
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. oats (uncooked)
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil raisins, dates and water for three minutes.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add oil, egg and vanilla.
    Mix. Add dry ingredients (which have been mixed together).
    Mix thoroughly.
    Chill.
    Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Artificial sweetener may be added to make cookies sweeter, but they are good and more healthy with only the fruit as sweetener.
