Ingredients

1 c. creamy butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Beat sugars, butter and oil until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Add dry ingredients and mix.
Chill overnight or for a few hours.
Roll into small balls.
Place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until brown.
You can flatten and spread beaten egg whites on and sprinkle with white or colored sugar.
