Cornmeal Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat margarine and brown sugar until fluffy.
    Add egg and vanilla.
    Beat.
    Mix flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
    Add to sugar mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Shape into three 12-inch rolls. Chill.
    Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven about 8 minutes, or until brown.
    Cool on rack.
