Ingredients
- 
                            3 1/2 c. flour
 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
grated rind of 1 lemon
2 oz. brandy
6 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. cream
Preparation
- 
                            Rub shortening in flour; add sugar and egg yolks.
 
Mix until a smooth dough. Roll out thick.
Cut and bake in a hot oven until brown at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
In some ovens bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes to prevent burning.
