Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
cinnamon and sugar for sparkling
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cream butter with sugar until well blended.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream; blend well.
Drop on greased cookie sheets. Spread into 2-inch rounds and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
