Ingredients

2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
2 c. molasses
1 c. melted shortening (oleo)
1 c. sour milk
6 c. flour
6 level tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt, ginger, flour and soda in sifter.
Combine molasses, shortening and milk.
Mix together and let stand (covered) in refrigerator overnight.
Roll out and cut in any preferred shape.
Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0.
