Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. margarine or lard
4 c. flour
4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
sliced almonds
Preparation

Cream the butter, margarine and sugar.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Mix well with creamed mixture.
Add 1/2 cup sour cream. Knead well and form 2 rolls.
Wrap in wax paper and chill overnight.
Slice and top with sliced almonds.
Bake 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Lay on newspaper to cool.
Cover with paper towel.
