Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. solid packed pumpkin
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. softened butter
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and spices. Combine with the pumpkin, sugar and eggs.
    In a mixing bowl, mix until well blended.
    Stir in nuts. Spread well in a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Test with toothpick in center.
    If it comes out clean, bread is done.
