Poor Man'S Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. raisins, mixed with 1 1/4 c. water
1/2 c. melted Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Boil raisins and water for 20 minutes.
Mix melted Crisco, sugar and egg.
Add to raisin and water mixture.
Sift remaining dry ingredients.
Add raisin sauce.
Pour onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
