Pineapple Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
    1/4 c. softened butter
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    36 walnut halves
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserve juice for beverage.
    Cream butter with sugar.
    Beat in eggs, vanilla and pineapple.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet.
    Place a half walnut on top of each cookie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
    Makes 3 dozen.
