Corn And Pepper Bread - cooking recipe

1 c. all-purpose flour
2/3 c. yellow cornmeal
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. warmed buttermilk
1 stick margarine
1 egg
1 c. thawed frozen corn
1/2 c. finely chopped sweet green pepper
1 Tbsp. green chilies, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 9-inch round baking pan. Combine flour, meal, sugar, powder, soda and salt in large bowl. Mix buttermilk, margarine and egg.
Stir milk mixture into flour mixture until combined.
Fold in pepper and chilies. Put batter into greased pan.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool on rack for 15 minutes.
