Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco, eggs, milk and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt and blend into egg mixture.\tRoll 1/8-inch thick on lightly floured surface, cut with cookie cutter.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.\tBake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Remove from sheet immediately, sprinkle with sugar if desired.
