Mincemeat Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    3 eggs
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nuts
    1 1/2 c. mincemeat
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans, your choice)
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugars together until very creamy.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture, alternating with mincemeat.
    Fold in nuts.
    Roll into 1 1/2-inch size rolls and refrigerate overnight.
    When ready, slice about 1/4 inch thick.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 4 or 5 dozen.
