Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Parkay margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract (may use any extract you choose)
    2 c. flour
    3/4 c. chopped pecans, peanuts or walnuts
    Kraft strawberry or red raspberry preserves (your favorite preserves will work)
Preparation
    Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Blend in extract.
    Add flour; mix well.
    Shape level measuring tablespoons of dough into balls; roll in nuts.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.
    Indent centers; fill with preserves. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Makes approximately 3 dozen.
