Thumb Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 egg yolks (save egg whites)
    2 sticks butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix into small balls.
    Mix egg white to froth.
    Dip balls into froth.
    Roll in chopped pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Take out.
    Press thumb in center; then finish baking 10 to 12 minutes.
