Batter Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl.
    Beat eggs and milk together.
    Add liquid to dry ingredients.
    Melt shortening in an 8-inch square pan.
    Add half of melted shortening to batter.
    Pour into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
