Sweet Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain cornmeal (yellow)
    1 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in order listed and pour into a greased 8 or 9-inch pan. Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
