Maraschino Nut Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. nuts
1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
juice from 1 (8 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries
Preparation

Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs, sugar and cherry juice; add to dry ingredients.
Mix thoroughly; fold in nuts and cherries.
Pour into waxed paper lined loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Serves 12.
