Ingredients

2 sticks Imperial margarine (cold)
3/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Cream cold margarine for about 5 minutes. Add sugar gradually. Add vinegar and vanilla. Mix baking soda to flour and add to margarine mixture. Blend in nuts. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven (middle rack). Makes approximately 48 cookies.
