Rutabaga Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large or 3 small rutabagas
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
    8 slices bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/8 tsp. parsley
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Dice peeled rutabagas and cook until tender in small amount of water; drain.
    Fry bacon crisp; set aside.
    Saute onion in bacon grease.
    Add onion, bacon, soup, parsley and pepper to rutabagas. Salt to taste.
    Simmer slowly until all flavors are well blended.
