Pineapple Macadamia Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    4 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. chopped Macadamia nuts
    6 Tbsp. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    2 c. canned crushed pineapple, with juice
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Butter 2
    (1-pound)
    loaf
    pans. Sift the measured flour together with the
    baking powder, soda and salt.
    Stir in the chopped Macadamia nuts.\tIn
    a separate bowl, cream softened butter and the brown sugar.\tStir
    in the eggs; beat until mixture is smooth.
    In this
    order,
    stir
    in 1/2
    of the flour-nut mixture, the pineapple
    and
    juice
    and remaining flour-nut
    combination;
    blend
    thoroughly.
    Divide batter\tinto prepared
    pans.
    Combine
    sugar
    and
    cinnamon; sprinkle over batter in each pan.
    Bake for 50
    to 60 minutes, or until bread tests done.
    Let cool for 5
    minutes, then turn out onto cake rack.
    Makes 2 (1-pound) loaves.
