Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add beaten egg, salt, vanilla and oats.
Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on aluminum foil on cookie sheets. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
Makes about a hundred paper thin, crispy cookies.
